Drawings

Drawing from life is the most basic foundation of all my paintings and sculpture. My drawings are studies and research into the methods of creating structure and space invoking the human form. Pencil, charcoal and chalk and any combination thereof are the main materials used in my drawings. I treasure the accidental and spontaneous qualities of the drawing materials. I don’t consider the drawings to be finished works of art but rather a practice of exploring the human form for its formal and emotional content.
